April is Global Volunteer Month! The dedication and passion of our volunteers allows us to deliver the healing power of play to children with medical needs across the U.S. and abroad. In 2022, 16,705 Project Sunshine volunteers completed 63,268 volunteer hours through our different program offerings, which served 199,463 children and families around the world. The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) accomplished much for Project Sunshine in 2022 by hosting fundraisers, creating activity books, and packing activity kits.
Our international volunteers have brought joy to children and their families through their customized programs for their local communities in Canada, Israel, and Kenya.
