A Collaborative Approach

Partnering with medical facilities and nonprofits across the country

We support the child life specialists, healthcare professionals, and nonprofit staff in their work to provide psychological, social, and emotional support for pediatric patients and families. We design and facilitate developmentally appropriate and adaptive programming in a range of settings within the hospital, outpatient medical facilities, and even at home.

Medical Facility Partnership

Supporting medical professionals through play

Project Sunshine is a global network of volunteers that provide play and activities to help children cope while facing medical challenges. Project Sunshine supports the work of child life specialists and other medical professionals in their work of providing psychological, social and emotional support to pediatric patients and families. We design and facilitate developmentally appropriate and adaptive programming in a range of settings within the hospital and outpatient medical facilities.

Nonprofit Partnership

Virtual play for your community

Project Sunshine partners with disease-specific nonprofits to provide age-appropriate activities and games to the communities they serve. Our programs are adaptive for children with various developmental and sensory needs. Partner nonprofits organize regularly scheduled programming for their constituents while Project Sunshine provides trained and engaging volunteers to facilitate virtual play sessions.
