Project Sunshine Community,
I’m pleased to share an exciting update about the future of Project Sunshine. After a thoughtful and comprehensive search process, I am delighted to announce that Meghan Moloney will serve as our next Chief Executive Officer.
Meg is a dynamic talent with more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience. She most recently served as Executive Director of Children of Bellevue, the largest hospital auxiliary in the NY Health and Hospital system. Previously, she served in leadership roles at Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to civic engagement. Earlier in her career, Meg served as the chief of membership and service delivery at the Girl Scouts of the USA. She also served as the senior director of programs at New York Cares, New York City’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer engagement and community impact.
She also comes to her new role with a uniquely strong passion for our mission and knowledge of our organization. Meg previously served as a member of Project Sunshine’s Board of Directors and her experience and perspective will be invaluable as we continue to build on our organization’s many strengths.
I want to thank the entire Project Sunshine community for your support throughout this CEO transition and process. Your focus on our mission and support for those we serve was unwavering. This dedication and passion has helped us build a thriving organization serving more than 250,000 children and families through partnerships with 500 hospitals and health systems, as well as 18,000 volunteers.
Today is Meg’s first day on the job and I know that she is eager to get to work. That includes connecting with this community to hear your stories and learn from your experience, so look for opportunities in the coming months. Please join me in welcoming Meg to Project Sunshine!
Sincerely,
Natan Bibliowicz
