Project Sunshine held its Seventh Annual Golf Classic on October 10, 2017 at the Golf Club of Purchase in Purchase, NY. The event raised over $507,000 to support Project Sunshine’s indispensable programming that delivers creative, recreational, and educational activities to children facing medical challenges and their families worldwide.

Douglas Hammond, Chairman and CEO of NFP, and Michael Goldman, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, co-chaired the outing. The event honored Natan Bibliowicz, founder of the Golf Classic and Project Sunshine Board member.

After an unseasonably warm and sunshine-filled day of golf, players and dinner guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the terrace. Event Co-Chairs Douglas Hammond and Michael Goldman welcomed guests at dinner; Ivana Man, Child Life Specialist, spoke on the impact Project Sunshine has had at her hospital; and Special Guest Auctioneer Jessica Bibliowicz led a record–breaking live auction.

Because of our incredible supporters, the Golf Classic has raised over $3 million dollars since the event launched seven years ago. This funding spreads sunshine to pediatric patients and their families across the United States and in four international sites.
