Volunteer: Corporate

Project Sunshine offers a multitude of ways for corporations to become involved with our programs. Volunteering with Project Sunshine allows employees to develop relationships outside of the office while giving back to the community at the same time.

"Project Sunshine has been one of our nonprofit partners since 2010. Since the beginning of our partnership, Project Sunshine has provided exceptional service when organizing and executing corporate volunteer opportunities. As Manager of American Express´┐Ż volunteer program for New York based employees, I get to see how engaged and excited our employees get when volunteering with the organization. Employees constantly praise the overall experience, often mentioning how rewarding and fun the projects are. It is one of our most solicited volunteer opportunities. The process runs smoothly from beginning to end! Just recently, American Express expanded their partnership to include other regions in the U.S."

- Anthony Sanchez, Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, American Express

How do Corporate Volunteers participate?

  • Volunteer directly with children in the hospital
  • Make special gifts for children and deliver them to local hospitals

"Project Sunshine gives people who normally work in the corporate arena the opportunity to make magic: to bring smiles and laughter to children with serious medical challenges and, moreover, to share with them their incredible journey to recovery."

- Daniel Hardgrove, Vice President, ITO Banking Governance, BNP Paribas

Corporate Volunteers can also find out if their corporations offer Employee Giving or "Matching Gifts" programs. For more information about this, please click here.
