Volunteer Spotlight: Project Sunshine Israel

Ever since Mor Hanany can remember, she has been volunteering. When she was released from the Israeli army a year and a half ago, she was looking for a new volunteer opportunity and heard about Project Sunshine Israel through a friend. Mor explains how she decided that this was the opportunity she was looking for, "I saw Project Sunshine with the shiny yellow t-shirts and balloons, and decided this was the place for me."

Volunteering with Project Sunshine Israel at Tel Hashomer Hospital´s Kindergarten for children with special needs always brings Mor a huge sense of satisfaction. Each time shes with the children, she feels like she´s in the right place, helping in every way she can. The connection she has forged with the children is priceless.

"What I love most about volunteering with these children is the pure smiles, joy and excitement I see on their faces during our Sunshine Chefs and Book Buddies programming. I am eager to watch them develop, grow and enjoy life."
