Book Buddies
Volunteers read with children in hospitals across the country and around the world.
Each child who participates in a Book Buddies program keeps the book they read during that event,
fighting illiteracy, and promoting education and reading for pleasure.
The Project Sunshine Book Club
Distinguished children’s book authors, illustrators and celebrities are brought into pediatric medical facilities to provide special reading events. The Book Club enables children to meet authors and illustrators, to expand their interest in literacy, and to share in the joy of reading by learning how books are created.
