Project Sunshine Week: May 12-19, 2009
Project Sunshine Week, the week leading up to the Sixth Annual Benefit Celebration, will once again feature specials events and initiatives from Project Sunshine’s partners and all-star volunteers.
Confirmed highlights include:
* Mayor Bloomberg has proclaimed May 12-19, 2009 as "Project Sunshine Week"
* NY Giants player David Diehl will volunteer with Project Sunshine in the hospital
* Babe Ruth’s granddaughter, Linda Ruth Tosetti, will visit the hospital as part of Project Sunshine’s Book Club
* Join Project Sunshine on the Today Show May 12th - email us for more info and to join our group
* Helen Ficalora has created a limited edition silver charm with 100% of proceeds being donated to Project Sunshine
* Stuart Weitzman has created a gold sandal with a percentage of sales benefiting Project Sunshine
* Leiber has created a sunshine key chain
