Project Sunshine Canada - 2015 Sunshine Ball
Project Sunshine Canada´s Ninth Annual Sunshine Ball, held on November 19, 2015 at
the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto, helped raise more than $200,000 for the charity in
Canada. Funds raised will sustain Project Sunshine´s work supporting children and their
families at the existing 15 medical facilities they partner with across Ontario and Quebec
and allow them to explore new opportunities with medical establishments across Canada.
The event was co–chaired by Claire Kilgour–Hervey and Angelina Pun.
The Sunshine Ball, co–sponsored by BMO and Scotiabank, welcomed more than 300 guests and
was hosted by Robert Windrum, Executive Director of Project Sunshine Canada, and Caroline
Bell–Ritchie, President, Board of Directors. Special guests from New York City, Joseph
Weilgus, founder of Project Sunshine, and Beatrice Kernan, Executive Director of Project
Sunshine, Inc., were in attendance.
"I´m honored to be in here this evening to witness the compassion and generosity of our
supporters in Canada," said Joseph Weilgus, founder of Project Sunshine, "I´m excited for
our Canadian family to expand from coast to coast in 2016."
