Project Sunshine Canada's Young Patrons Circle: Sunshine Saturday
On Saturday, July 26th, over 70 guests and 16 volunteers helped us celebrate at this year´s Sunshine Saturday event on the Toronto Algonquin Island and Queen City Yacht Club. Participants soaked up the sun and partook in summer
camp themed challenges throughout the 9 hole course. A delicious BBQ dinner, lawn games, and dancing to the live music
of the talented band The Scnd followed at the Queen City Yacht Club with the city’s magnificent skyline as the backdrop
for the evening. This year guests were also treated to a memorable awards ceremony, where participants were awarded
rare 90's memorabilia and the coveted "Denim Jacket" for the team with the lowest par.
Sunshine Saturday is one of Project Sunshine’s YPC’s fundraising initiatives, and therefore integral to the
free programs that we offer to families and children who need them most. Your participation will allow for us to
continue to provide art, reading and wellness programs in medical facilities across Canada, as well as explore
opportunities for growth in new facilities. Thank you to everyone who attended and to our event sponsors, Cortel Group and Toron AMI.
