Internships - August 2010
Project Sunshine is currently seeking college interns for the month of August, 2010. Our exciting internship program provides students with a well-rounded experience in a fast-paced nonprofit organization.
Intern should have:
- Strong oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The desire to learn about the nonprofit sector
- Event planning experience a plus
- Volunteer coordination experience a plus
Intern is responsible for:
- Planning and attending volunteer events
- Supporting staff in the planning of fundraising events
- Coordinating community outreach
- Assisting with grant writing
- Assisting with general office work
Interns must be available at least 20 hours per week.
